The resolution contract

Fixed when the question was written — what happens is checked against this, not against vibes. Ambiguous? It resolves N/A and everyone is refunded.

Resolution criteria: The Metacritic critic Metascore for the lead console SKU, read 30 days after launch. Bucket by that integer score.
Source of truth: Metacritic (lead console SKU), snapshot at launch + 30 days.
Resolves: Launch + 30 days.
N/A (refund) if: Metacritic has no page/score for the SKU at the snapshot (extraordinarily unlikely).
Resolution deadline: Dec 19, 2026

How payouts work

Parimutuel: all stakes pool together. When the question resolves, winners get their stake back plus a share of the losers’ points, proportional to stake weight. No house, no odds-setting — the crowd IS the odds.
