Privacy Policy

This is a placeholder. The final privacy policy is drafted before public launch (IMPLEMENTATION_PLAN.md, Stage 8). Our intended posture:

What we store

We keep only what the league needs to run:

• Account & sign-in: your email address, and — if you sign in with a third-party provider — the name and profile image that provider shares, plus the linkage and session tokens that keep you signed in.
• Your public record: your handle (and any handle change), your stakes, and your results.
• Play & moderation: your VC$ points ledger, and, where relevant, moderation status and any abuse reports you file. VC$ is play-money — never purchasable, never cashable.

We briefly use your IP address for rate-limiting and abuse prevention. No advertising trackers.

Your data, your control

You can export your account data as a complete JSON file, or delete your account, from Settings. Deleting strips your personal fields and severs your sign-in; your anonymized league history (stakes and points ledger) is retained under a placeholder handle so resolved markets stay balanced.

Third parties

We rely on infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email, sign-in) strictly to operate the service. We do not sell your data.
